ABOUT US

1. INTRODUCTION

WECASS TECHNOLOGY SENEGAL, is a Sister company of WECASS INSTITUTE TECHNOLOGY Berlin, Germany. It is specifically designed for the training of Africans based and production of solar energy Materials on German standard of scientific training and technical education curricular in the techniques and technologies of solar energy, wind energy and related I.T server skills. It will act as an independent German rated research center for the development of renewable energy technology on the Africa soil.

The Energy center is a product of the partnership between WECASS TECHNOLOGY SENEGAL, and Its German Renewable Energy Partners, in Germany Where as WECASS is the former institution registered in German for the study of renewable energy and climate change technologies,

WECASS TECHNOLOGY SENEGAL will be carrying out several projects in solar or wind energy with our partners. Every project in solar or wind energy that will be handled by Wecass will be predominantly executed by the people of SENEGAL and Africans trained in our centre for the support of job creation in the Republic of SENEGAL and as well to maintained the transfer of the energy destiny of Africans into their own hand for the future of the continent.

An International Professional Certificate will be a warded to Every participant of Wecass Renewable Energy Technology Training at the end of the training session The Training will be lead by German Professors, Engineers and inventors in the field: E.g.

*Solar Energy Professional Certificate
*Wind Energy Professional Certificate
*Solar or Wind Energy Project Management Certificate

The Renewable Energy Trainings at Wecass Technology Senegal will be intensive and will cover wide area in both Theory and praxis for Solar Energy or Wind Energy: E.g.

*Installations
*Maintains
*Security
*Solar Thermal Production
*Management of Solar or Wind Energy Projects in Africa.

2. KEY DRIVERS OF WECASS TECHNOLOGY SENEGAL ARE
  • To extend the same quality of experience and high standard of training in renewable energy as is obtainable in WECASS INSTITUTE, Berlin to Africa.
  • To truly and independently transfer technology to Africans without the usual undeclared nationalists' interests and ulterior motives associated with state sponsored training programs.

  • To reduce cost by bringing these cost intensive trainings home to Africa in other to achieve best academic and practical objectives.
  • To reduce high energy deficit in Africa by empowering a new generation of home grown energy experts and power entrepreneurs that will tackle home made energy challenges.
  • To scale up Africa's experience in the adoption of renewable energy through the awareness of quality over substandard services and products.
  • To create a new orientation that will de-emphasize Africa as a dumping ground for substandard R.E products and services.
  • To create jobs and open new opportunities that will attract foreign investments in the energy sector in SENEGAL.
3. WECASS TECHNOLOGY SENEGAL AND ITS GERMAN PARTNERS STRUCTURE

The WECASS-PARTNERSHIP on the African Energy Training and Production Center is purely academic and Pan African oriented. WECASS with its Training and Production with our foreign Partners is obliged to provide with the expertise, personnel, equipments and materials, administrative resources and standards, etc basic structures, environments, accommodations and knowledgeable support personnel as assistants to WECASS trainers in SENEGAL, applicable areas so as to encourage rapid transfer of knowledge and technology.

Wecass Training and production in SENEGAL are of common interests in education, research and innovation and in the spirit of equipping trainees with much needed knowledge in the preservation of nature, protection of the environment and the prevention of natural disasters.

The fundamental purpose of the Energy Centre is to facilitate Transfer of Renewable Energy technology from the German Inventors (First Hand) to Africans and to further research on the possibility of using local raw materials to build some of this technology at the Energy Center. This will help to liberate Africa from over dependency on unsustainable and unclean energy sources.
